Tang Chia-Hung in Paris

Definitely a gold medal contender on H Bar.

Recovered from the injury that cost him most of his 2023 season …

The gymnast known as the “King of Cats” blew past the competition to win the Horizontal Bar title at last weekend’s World Challenge Cup in Osijek (CRO), scoring 15.350 for a new routine that included five different release skills: three Tkatchev elements, a Cassina, and an unusual Walstrom (Yamawaki with full turn).

His 15.350 (which carries a 6.5 difficulty tariff) was higher than the 15.233 Hashimoto Daiki (JPN) received when winning the World title on the apparatus last autumn …
