Gymnastics and Trampoline coaches need educate the general public. If you want to do trampoline, do so with experienced, accredited coaches in a safe facility. Not with no instruction and minimal supervision. 😦

An interesting experiment is planned for European Championships 2017 in Romania.

For the first time we will use the Smart Rings technology in senior competition, after successful tests at the last 2 European Championships.

Another big change will be introduced in the judging. In order to improve the accuracy of the final execution (E) score we will include the scores of the reference judges. So instead of counting the middle score of 5 scores, we will count the middle 3 scores of 7 scores. In addition a judge will be replaced when his/her own country competes on his / her apparatus. This is of course to remove the potential for bias and conflict of interest. To do this, an additional judge will be added, judge E6, whose score will replace the judge of the competing country. …
