TEAMS qualifying to the Tokyo Olympics
The USA, China and Russia have already qualified a full team to the 2020 Olympics. The other 9 spots will be based on Worlds 2019.

Kohei will not compete Worlds 2019
As many had assumed, Kohei Uchimura has withdrawn from next week’s All-Japan Artistic Gymnastics Apparatus Championships where he was qualified for the horizontal bar final.
That event was his last shot at selection for the Japanese team …
Some nations might put him on the team anyway, despite their selection process, but it seems highly unlikely that the King or Mai Murakami (who missed the NHK Cup due to injury) will compete in Stuttgart.
The Japanese men have already qualified a full team to the Olympics. Worlds this year will be a chance to test their younger gymnasts.

Fibreglass hand rails covered with natural fibre. This material is more malleable than wood so the covering is more consistent, which increases its lifespan.
Its texture also allows gymnasts to get excellent grip with less bar preparation time. In use, less chalk is needed on these rails.
Two types available competition and training. The Training rail Ref 3268 is pink, this colour makes it easier to see when first learning releases. The competition bar is a natural fibre colour.
The pinkish training rail is also slightly smaller diameter.

Coaching style can reduce injury risk
It makes sense.
A more careful, caring coach who listens to athletes you would expect to have lower incidence of both traumatic and overuse injuries.
We have no definitive data on this, however.
