Old former President Trump spoke last week to Black journalists telling them that immigrants are taking “Black jobs.”

He should learn to read a room. That’s not what that group wanted to hear.

Trump’s running mate, Sen. JD Vance (R-Ohio), was one of the many uninformed who criticized Simone for withdrawing from the Tokyo Olympics for safety reasons related to mental health.

Trump helped with that bid — but it seems on brand for him to hate the Olympics as he hates most everything, aside from the rich.

Two female boxers being criticized online are competitors in good standing with the IOC. They’ve competed for many years and meet all eligibility criteria.

Certainly the International Boxing Association bungles many things, this being simply the most recent. If I was on the IOC I’d vote to drop that sport from Olympic competition.
