Mary Lou Retton has pneumonia  

I was shocked to hear that the still super fit former Olympic champion was in the ICU for “over a week” with a rare form of pneumonia.

Daughter McKenna Kelley shared the news Tuesday.

As of Wednesday morning, the Spotfund page has raised more than $250,000 from over 4,000 donors.

It seems that even a celebrity Olympic champion needs to crowdsource healthcare in the USA.

And we all want Mary Lou back smiling and with family as quickly as possible.

Fred Richard, not Richards. Get that straight. He’s the 2023 Worlds Bronze medalist.

Fred has many areas where he could improve. Young with tons of potential.

A good AA Final overall. Comparatively few falls.

Many of those falls — however — were from top contenders at the END of the competition. My man Sun Wei had 2 falls on Pommels on the final apparatus, for example.

A crazy finish.

Daiki really is the new Uchimura. So clutch under pressure.

That’s Hashimoto’s 2nd-straight world title.

Kovtun’s silver is Ukraine’s best finish in the men’s AA at worlds (Verniaiev has an Olympic silver), and Richard wins the US’s first AA medal since Horton in 2010. …
