2026 Men’s Gymnastics World Cup Series Ranking

zhoxxyy has a detailed post on how the World Cup series worked in 2026, despite the cancellation of Doha, Qatar due to Trump’s idiotic war.

It confusing.

It’s unfair in that all the competitions are close to Europe, making it very expensive for those from far away. On the other hand, Jesse Moore from Australia is 2nd on P Bars. Karl Eldrew Yulo 2nd on Floor. And we have winners from Colombia and Taipei. It’s possible if you can afford to travel to the meets.

From these lists some athletes will qualify to World Championships in October 2026. It will be some time before we know which, however.

weirdest P Bar sticky stuff?

Nebraska uses Mountain Dew.

Personally, I like white sugar super saturated by being boiled in water in a microwave. It’s the least messy I’ve seen.

I recall some in China using salt water.

introducing Healy on P Bars

With minimal spotting.

With beginners, ideally have them start with Heally on whatever arm they feel comfortable. THEN have them do the same on the opposite arm.

Next step after the video — for me — is to do Healy on P Bar boxes. With padding, of course. For the first attempts on boxes, slide a mat underneath the legs. This helps build the confidence to go for it.
