Myself and Portuguese WAG National coach Pedro Roque were apparatus clinicians in Egypt.
It turned out to be the best-attended age group camp ever with 69 coaches from seven Arab federations – Egypt, Jordan, Lebanon, Morocco, Palestine, Syria and Tunisia. Thirty-two of the participants were MAG coaches and 37 were WAG coaches.

We had a good number of FIG judges attend, as well.
Two FIG courses were hosted at the Olympic Centre for National Teams in Cairo, part of a secure, enclosed multi-sport venue with hotel and restaurant.
One evening Pedro and I visited the huge Wadi Degla Club in Cairo. Another world class venue with excellent, experienced coaches.
