On her recent GymCastic interview, Chellsie said she’d someday like to work Tak 1/2 on the Men’s Bar. And perhaps Kovacs with coach Jon Horton.

I love a great Pak.

Especially those landing on the low Bar close to handstand.

I recall watching Brittany Rogers and Maddie Copiak training together. Both tall. Both launching Pak as high as they could.

After some discussion online, I learned it is already in the MAG Code:

  1. Bwd. uprise and double salto fwd. t. to up arm hang. (E-part)

Therefore it wouldn’t be named for Pakhniuk.

Ariella Käslin’s story

Ariella Käslin is a 2008 Olympian voted Swiss Sportswoman of the Year in 2008, 2009 and 2010.

I recall being disappointed when Ariella retired 2011. She seemed still top of her game.

She later wrote a memoir detailing her exhaustion, related depression, and concerns with former Swiss National Coach Eric Demay who was let go April 2007.
