planned changes to H Bar code

Ángel Barajas – 6.9 H Bar

OLD 2024 Code, of course.

Next Code is counts only 8 skills.

Click PLAY or watch it on YouTube. Angel is one of the most exciting up and coming talents in the world.

Ángel Barajas was the silver medalist in Paris. He was awarded a University scholarship.

He recently had an operation on his ankle.

More falls and errors than I expected.

That Flyaway drill would come after Swinging Rings.

Personally I like to have beginners do hundreds of Flyaways without spot before moving to the competition Bar. Doing progressions without spot builds confidence.

Doing an actual Flyaway on an actual Bar I’d delay as long as possible.

IF your gymnast hits feet on the Bar, there could be a setback. Don’t let it happen.

Quast + 1/1 twist

Quast is a surprisingly difficult skill on H Bar.

To add another twist is cray cray. 😀
