Watanabe was a coach in Artistic and Men’s Rhythmic gymnastics 1983-1990. I learned that from his IOC biography.
For rape, for example, it’s about 2% – 10%.
My guess is that it’s closer to 2%.
The best book I’ve read on the subject is Krakauer’s Missoula: Rape and the Justice System in a College Town. What happens to women who report is usually horrific. ☹️
