Félix is in great shape right now. BUT fell twice on Pommels to score 9.500 in the all-around final at the Commonwealth Games.
Disaster.
He ranked 17 / 18 after two events.
But this guy has character. He fought through the final 4 apparatus to finish silver in the AA. One of the great comebacks anyone can recall.

Ellie Black, age-30, looking for her 5th Olympic Games in Los Angeles, is a legend.
Great athlete. But even more impressive as a positive role model and leader.
Ellie hit 8 / 8 so far in Glasgow. Consistency is one of her many, many strengths.
With Lia-Monica another very strong all-arounder, this may be Canada’s strongest Olympic team contender yet.

Félix was the favourite after leading prelims, but had 2 falls (2 points) on Pommels in the AA competition.
Felix scored 9.500 on Pommels, Reuben 14.100. FIG expert on site, Jeff Thomson, said he couldn’t recall a greater comeback in Gymnastics history.
