Canada was very happy with the results earning medals on all five apparatus WAG & MAG.

Pranati Nayak in the Vault final

When Dipa could not return from injury in time for Commonwealth Games, the Indian media focused on Aruna Reddy who had a good result in a World Cup in February.

Aruna did not qualify for the Commonwealth Games Vault final, however.

It was her teammate Pranati Nayak who ended up qualifying. Pranati had her 23rd birthday at the Games.

American coach Jim Holt is very impressed with what Pranati and her coach Minara Begum have accomplished despite many, many challenges. Good luck in the Final.

Read more about Pranati and watch a crazy video on First Post.
