RAIN in Qatar
The first training days were disrupted by a massive rain storm. Over 6 hours the deluge exceeded Qatar’s average annual rainfall.
My hostel was flooded, for example. Traffic was a mess. They really aren’t prepared for rain storms here in the desert.
The rain returned on the first day of WAG qualifying competition forcing a long delay. Gymnasts eventually returned to the training hall.

She’s the favourite on Bars. And will easily qualify to the final with 15.066.

Median scores for all apparatus went up from Worlds 2017 to Worlds 2018. That’s expected over the quadrennial. … BUT median score on Pommels dropped 1.167. That’s no statistical fluke. There’s something wrong with that horse.
