It’s essential they feel SAFE when leaning too far.

Challenge gymnasts to get their hips (Centre of Mass) over the hands before lifting toes off the floor.

The concept of Beat Swing can be difficult for beginners. Their limbs are relatively short.

Swinging on Rings is a great way to start. Next do the Beat Swing in slow motion with feet touching the ground while hanging on either Rings or Bar.
