The Utes are off the to big dance too. For the 44th time in a row. They’ve had a great season, so far.

It took 198+ to get through — #ScoreInflation — but what a competition. Spencer called the judging “unprofessional and atrocious“.

For the first time the three Tyndall brothers competed against one another at Big Ten Championships.
I’ll give the win to the eldest – Wyatt.
His team took the win. And he rocked this Parallel Bar set.

A terrible landing on Floor. Handspring Double Front.

Sam’s an aerospace engineering major who, upon her graduation in May, has accepted a job to work for Boeing in Seattle.
It was a LOUD CROWD at Regionals in Corvallis.
The home team opened on Beam with a stunning 49.500. Well deserved. And they never looked back, easily qualifying with a score of 197.125.

Florida has room to improve on the 197.500 they got here. The Gators also went 49.500 on Beam. Also well deserved.
It was a festive atmosphere. A celebration. Both Stanford and Iowa were excited and enthusiastic too.
I was at the Corvallis Regional.
In the first of the two sessions today Denver was certainly the best of the 4 teams. 49.475 on Beam! That’s their Regionals record and the score was deserved. Congratulations.
Boise crushed it on Bars (as usual) in the 4th rotation to live to fight another day. University of Washington and SUU were in it. An exciting competition to watch.
I found the judging on Beam and Bars to be NCAA normal. 🙄 … But Vault and Floor judging was poor in my opinion. The scores were boxed with little differentiation between excellent and average.
