The town of Belle Glade FL (“Muck City“), population 20,000, has produced an extraordinary number of NFL players. It’s a hotbed for American football.   

Indian Table Tennis star, Rajul Sheth, immigrated to the USA for University, and established the most successful program in the USA at the India Community Center in California. Rajul finds he needs to start 400 recreational players to end up with 1 National Team member at the end.

For any activity, you need some genetic aptitude. A work ethic. After that there are a number of factors that contribute to building top athletes.

RUS Maxim Khodykin volunteers to fight in Ukraine

Russian gymnast Maxim Khodykin has travelled to fight in the country’s war on Ukraine, according to the national team doctor Sergei Gulevsky.

Khodykin has trained at the Russian gymnastics Olympic base – the Ozero Krugloye facility outside Moscow – although was not in the national team.

His last competition was at the Mikhail Voronin Cup in December, when he finished second in the men’s rings. …

After a number of disappointing seasons, Courtney Kupets Carter brought in some new coaches. Sam Welbourn, volunteer assistant coach and Kentucky alumna Mollie Korth, and Ryan Roberts.

The new-look staff joined 11 newcomers—eight freshmen and three transfers—to complete the Gymdogs’ 2023 roster. With only seven returners, the roster is more newcomers than Georgia veterans. …
