Here’s a feel good story.
Bryony Page has won silver in the trampolining event at the Rio Olympics tonight. …
Page broke down in tears when she realised she was guaranteed a medal, with two athletes left to jump.

Many in Gymnastics sports get asked: “Are you Going to the Olympics?”
Here’s how some Canadian athletes at different levels answered that tough question. Click PLAY or watch it on YouTube.
Did you like the gunmetal Canadian leos?
MacLennan went to Rio with four different suits, custom fit and designed for her at this Jagwear Gymnastic Apparel factory β two of them for competition day. In a Rio Games alight with gymnasts wearing trendy bling-encrusted leotards, MacLennan is, by comparison, conservative with the sparkle. Her competition suits are bejewelled with just 1,400 rhinestones each β arranged tight in a maple leaf on the chest and cascading randomly over the rest of the suit, a little like shooting stars. β¦
Knowing most of their competition in their discipline would be heavily gemmed, Canadaβs artistic gymnasts chose the shinier and more expensive Swarovski Crystals. Since they donβt retail, Jagwear wonβt estimate a price for the Olympic suits, but say the crystals alone cost about $300 per suit. β¦

Hancharou’s goal for this competition was Silver.
Hancharou is only age-20. And Trampolinists can stay at the top of their game for a long, long time. π
With Rosie‘s repeat Olympic Gold medal in Rio, Dave Ross has now coached athletes who have won a total of 7 Olympic medals.
His club is Skyriders, Toronto. He’s the owner of Rebound Products.
Watch the tears flow when Rosie finds herself atop the score board.
Dave coaches Jason Burnett in today’s Men’s Olympic Trampoline competition. Good luck.
Wow. I’m so thrilled for Rosie. π
In the notoriously unpredictable sport of trampoline–just one bad bounce can send a world-class athlete into last place–it’s much easier to fly into the top ranks of the sport than to stay there. Rosannagh, or Rosie, MacLennan of Canada proved it wasn’t impossible, however, when she became the first trampoline athlete to win two golds at an Olympics. …
Finishing third was Li Dan of China, the 2015 world champion. In fourth place was He, the gold medalist in Beijing and bronze medalist in London.
Chinese athletes have a streak of winning medals in women’s gymnastics going back to 2004.
