Montreal 2017 Coaching Symposium

In conjunction with World Championships 2017 an excellent acrobatic sports symposium was hosted October 5-8th.

Fujitsu judging support system

In collaboration, the FIG and Fujitsu will carry out data capture and field trials in order to achieve fair and accurate real-time judging support for Artistic Gymnastics that can be launched in 2020. …

FIG and Fujitsu to collaborate on building a judging support system for Artistic Gymnastics competitions

Fujitsu is paying all costs for now.

Steve Butcher expects it could be first used in case of inquiry or when judges are out of range. There are no plans at this point for this technology to be used as part of the final score.
