Three working groups for different Gymnastics disciplines met one-after-the-other at the magnificent new FIG headquarters to prepare the FIG Age Group Development and Competition Programmes.
The development and worldwide introduction and dissemination of those programmes for the Olympic disciplines has been partially funded by the IOC. Earlier this year, President Watanabe approved funding for similar programmes to be prepared and introduced for the two non-Olympic disciplines.
All three working groups met under the leadership of Hardy Fink, the Director of FIG Education & Academy Programmes. …
