a new beginning for Georgia?

I’m happy reading all the positive reviews of Georgia from their loss to Oklahoma.

Despite injuries (e.g. Achilles tear for Gigi Marino) many feel the mojo is back.

I’m not surprised knowing how motivated a coaching staff they have.

Though they competed only 5 gymnasts on 3 apparatus, Kupets hopes to get some of the injured back in the line-ups soon:

University of Bridgeport freshman Kathryn Doran (Oakville, Ontario, Canada) has been named the ECAC Division II Women’s Gymnastics Rookie of the Week for her outstanding performance in the Purple Knights’ dual meet win over the University of New Hampshire on Saturday evening.

Doran tied for first place on the bars against New Hampshire with a score of 9.825, took second on the balance beam with an identical score of 9.825 …
