Alexandra Pizzera (GER) is the researcher. Fabian Hambuechen, the gymnast.

The lecture “Visual perception of complex movements” focuses on the visual sense and how this sense is used by athletes, coaches, and judges in sports.

Different gaze control strategies are explained and how gymnasts use their visual perception to control aerial skills. Finally, methods involving visual perception to support the learning process as a coach are presented.
