Australia – Movement Starts with the Gymnast

Though Australia withdrew as host of the next Commonwealth Games, they are still finding ways to develop the 2026 team.

As part of recent training camps at the Australian Institute of Sport in Canberra, Clay Mason Stephens, Georgia Godwin, James Hardy, Jesse Moore, Kate McDonald and Romi Brown have worked with three-time Olympic rowing gold medallist Drew Ginn to develop their leadership skills and build a positive team culture. 

The program, funded by the Commonwealth Games’ ‘Green2Gold2Great’ campaign, aims to create a more unified journey towards the 2026 Commonwealth Games. …
