Not only did they top the team qualification over traditional rivals Japan, they placed first in five of the eight events. 2021 world champion Zhang Boheng was the top All-Around and Horizontal Bar qualifier, while Zou Jingyuan finished in first place on two apparatus – Still Rings and Parallel Bars.
