NATIONAL TEAM RANKINGS – AUGUST 2017

Of course there’s no team competition at Worlds this year. Nations will bring the athletes with the best chance to qualify to a final rather than those who could put together the best team score.

Second priority will be sending new gymnasts with potential … for Worlds experience.

Jr World Championships 2019

It’s finally coming.

The EC (Executive Committee) has decided to organise Junior World Championships in Artistic Gymnastics in 2019 and asked the Competition Commission in consultation with the respective Technical Committee Presidents to develop the necessary rules and criteria to be presented for approval at the next EC meeting in October 2017.

Safety of the athlete should be foremost in planning this step.

STRONG legs – Gervasio Deferr

Gervasio Deferr was Olympic champion on Vault at both 2000 and 2004 Olympics. Silver on Floor at the 2008 Games with this routine.
