My favourite ever Chinese gymnast.

Aside from excellent form and technique — Cheng Fei was dominant in an era where coaches around the world considered it impossible for Chinese gymnasts to be strong on Vault and Tumbling.

Norwegian guys try ‘Webslinger’ on Rings

Back in the days of Originality Bonus, Canadian Tony Smith used a 1-legged Deltchev.

He called the hold position the Webslinger. A Spiderman reference.

Tony went on to be Men’s Head Coach at University of Calgary. And the Canadian National Team Head Coach.
