Sam Oldham needs your advice

He wants YOU to decide his H Bar release and dismount for @GymSuperstars next year. Comment on this tweet.

Sam on the H Bar miss

I called Sam for the AA win. He looks super ready.

Heading into the 6th and final apparatus — his best — Sam was only about half a point behind. His usual hit routine could MIGHT make up that difference.

XIAO Ruoteng had missed Liukin in team two nights ago. DALALOYAN was no sure hit either.

But Sam was the one who missed. It happens. Kohei only hits 95%.

I’d love to see him win H Bar in apparatus finals. It’s going to be EPKEIC.

World H Bar Champ 4 release series

Many were surprise when Tin Srbić (@tinsrbic) won H Bar last year.

He’s the favourite over Sam, Kohei, Epke and the rest if he hits this sequence in the apparatus final. Game on.

Yesterday I was honoured to meet Koichi Endo, the genius who does the FIG illustrations. His father popularized the Endo on H Bar.

Scott Bregman was inexplicable let go by USAG. Happily he’s in Doha doing Twitter commentary and putting together video for the Olympic Channel. Watch more routines from Russia, Israel, Netherlands podium training.

I once watched a New Zealand gymnast do 100 giants in series.

This is even more impressive. Angelina does more circles in one turn than your kids do in their entire Bars workout.
