Blythe reminded us that Keri didn’t actually need to do her second vault to clinch the team gold for USA.
The highlight for me was Mykayla Skinner’s story. Inspiring. That young woman really turned her life around through Gymnastics.
Sadly she’s currently suffering Achilles pain.

Tokyo. Team Friendship v Team Solidarity.
Each team is made of 8 female and 8 male athletes. These gymnasts either come from China, Russia, the United States and Japan, or are training in Japan.
Gymnasts at Gymcats Gym Dance Cheer are wearing a neck tube like a Buff for training. They can pull it up as needed for a mask. Not as effective as a real mask, but sufficient in many situations in the Gym.
A former gymnast / school principal friend of mine has a mask test that these neck tubes are likely to FAIL — can you blow out a flame through them. With a good mask, you can’t.
But the new BUFF® Filter Tube is promoted as having a 98% Bacterial Filtration Efficiency. That might be better.
