MyKayla Skinner interview

The best insight I’ve heard into how MyKayla thinks about the sport.

One of the most superb acrobats in Artistic Gymnastics ever, I believe MyKayla has a real shot at the Olympics. She’s super tough. Durable. And has been incredibly consistent in College.

training ‘curvilinear actions’

In Canada a concept was developed by Good Osborne and Boris Verkhovsky which they called curvilinear actions.

As gymnasts get more and more comfortable with progressions like the ones here they improve on all skills with similar body actions.

Worlds 2019 draw has been posted

MAG & WAG 93 federations – Stuttgart 4-13 October.

Mary Wright noted that Valeri Liukin (Brazil), Neil Resnick (New Zealand with mixed group 19) and Tom Forster (USA) will all have competitors in subdivision 12.
