Dakar en Jeux festival, Senegal

Senegal will host the Youth Olympic Games in 2026. 

Having been there a couple of times, I’m excited for that very peaceful nation.

This festival looks to be something of a warm-up event.

The second edition of the Dakar en Jeux festival will take place between October 31 and November 4, 2023, the organizing committee of the Dakar 2026 Youth Olympic Games (COYOG) announced … 

The event will feature sports initiations and demonstrations, concerts and various cultural programs. …

30,000 spectators, 2,000 athletes and 200 volunteers are expected to help carry out the festivities.
