Men’s NCAA week 4

  1. STANFORD (-)
  2. MICHIGAN (+1)
  3. OKLAHOMA (-1)
  4. NEBRASKA (-)
  5. OHIO STATE (-)

If week four told us anything, it’s that Stanford is likely untouchable.

Khoi Young, CGA Gymnast and Rookie of the Week, posted an outstanding 83.35 in the all-around.

His scores did not even count towards the Cardinal’s NCAA high 410.25 as Thom Glielmi competed Young, along with four others, outside of the lineup as a separate team.

This could very well be one of the best teams the NCAA has ever seen come Championship season when their five best compete on each event.

Lynnzee Brown injured

One of our biggest stars ruptured an Achilles dismounting Floor against Oklahoma.

Achilles ruptures are most frequent with older, more powerful and female gymnasts.

Let’s hope she can come back for a 6th year.

And celebrate her Vault from the same meet.
