teach glide kip piked or straddled?

Good question.

The general rule followed by many coaches is to do all skills with legs together to start:

  • Kip
  • Cast
  • Giants

LATER — and carefully — introduce straddle technique if and when needed. Canadian Olympian Maddie Copiak (170cm) never straddled. It’s possible.

Sam and Jessica Pezsek

Luan Peszek points out that Olympian Sam did two seasons of Level 4 AND two seasons of Level 5.

Jessica did one season of Level 4 and two seasons of Level 5.

Jessie Pezsek finished a great career finishing at Western Michigan University.
