Chalk It Up – the movie

I rented Chalk It Up on iTunes for $4.99.

Pretty silly, actually. And not nearly as much Gymnastics as I had hoped.

This film is fun for young female gymnasts. It’s family friendly. But adults may find it juvenile.

Some of the cinematography is well done. The movie was shot in 12 days yet production values are impressive. With very little funding this project was clearly a labour of love.

Congratulations to Maddy Curley and the rest of the team for putting it together. Big shout out for International Gymnastics Camp for providing the Gym.

A former Olympian and her husband … receive a national award, … ‘ordinary people who have done extraordinary things’.

Len and Yvonne Arnold sold their home to support the Europa Centre – a gymnastics centre in Crayford.

The couple then were awarded a National Lottery grant for a new facility ahead of the London 2012 Olympics. …

If you’ve met Len and Yvonne you know this tribute was well deserved. Europa is now one of the best facilities in the U.K. 🙂
