Kasamatsu progressions
Here’s another very well edited tutorial from the Saving Tenths YouTube channel.
I’ll add a couple of additional points for KAS:
- it’s important that coaches of BEGINNERS understand the relationship between cartwheel (early) and twisting (later). If one decides the direction of cartwheel — then later decides a different direction of twist, this particular vault is going to be difficult or impossible.
- cartwheel with the right hand forward requires a right twist in all saltos
- cartwheel with the left hand forward requires a left twist in all saltos
- I like to post a chart on the wall where all coaches know cartwheel hand and twist direction of every competitive athlete in the program
- ideally I’d like to do all the progressions in this video — but in the layout position first into the pit. Use the tuck position only if needed for competition that season. Layout is the goal. I’d go back to layout as soon as season ends.

World Games July 2022 in Alabama
The World Games is a multi-sport event staged every four years by the International World Games Association under the patronage of the International Olympic Committee.
The 11th edition of The World Games will be held in Birmingham, Alabama, USA, 7-17 July 2022.
3,600 athletes from over 30 sports and 100 countries will take part in The World Games.
EXCELLENT.
Trampoline and Tumbling, Acrobatic Gymnastics, Aerobic Gymnastics, Rhythmic, and Parkour will be included.
CBS Sports will televise a total of 12 hours of coverage stemming from The World Games; CBS Sports Network will air one-hour highlight shows after each day of competition over the 10-day event.
Additionally, the CBS Television Network will broadcast two, one-hour specials, with broadcast coverage also streaming on Paramount+ Premium.

Lindenwood to Division I 2026
What a success story!
Lindenwood, which currently competes at the NCAA Division II level, will begin its reclassification process to the NCAA Division I level during the 2022-23 academic year, when they will be included in OVC regular season schedules and be eligible to compete in OVC Championships.
Lindenwood will be eligible to earn automatic bids to NCAA Championships beginning in 2026-27, its first full season of full Division I membership. …
