If you can’t keep your feet together on Bar transfers like Chloe, you don’t deserve a 10.0 under any Code. 😀
A quick summary.
Personally, I feel judges are far too critical of bent elbows at the START of a cast. Depending on arm length, it can be near impossible for some kids to do that.
Straight arms should be required on the way up, but not while hips are still touching the rail.
In fact, I’d say it’s easiest to deliberately have the arms bent with beginners. Later keep them straighter and straighter earlier.

In an era with redundancy in all things related to safety, why does FIG certify equipment where failure of one link in a chain can result in the apparatus falling?
Jalon Stephens walked away. This time.
related – FIG – single point of failure
At her most recent competition, Kaylia fell. Some sort of grips problem.
BUT check her warm-up routine.
