The recent change to Level 6 & 7 Junior Olympic Vault rules was a HUGE improvement.

Judges should be rewarding those compulsories which could FLIP successfully. Here are some examples.

GREAT College routines from the last decade

Yes the “perfect 10” scoring system in College women’s Gymnastics is silly.

Yes it works for media and marketing. We should make the best of it.

In fact, I’m more outraged for gymnasts who should have got a perfect 10 than for those who did with errors.

Vault is the apparatus where I can most legitimately respect judges throwing a 10.

WAG is close to MAG in tumbling difficulty, but competes much less difficulty on Vault.

Reality check — MAG has a horse 10cm higher which gives them a more time in the air.

I’d say Tsukahara with 1/2 twist is the easiest on the list.

For some reason I’d never before noticed how LOW Simone comes on to the horse for Yurchenko.
