FIG and Fujitsu to collaborate on building a judging support system for Artistic Gymnastics competitions

Fujitsu is paying all costs for now.

Steve Butcher expects it could be first used in case of inquiry or when judges are out of range. There are no plans at this point for this technology to be used as part of the final score.

… The 48th Artistic Gymnastics World Championships 2018 have been allocated to the Federation of Qatar, City of Doha.

I’ll be there. October 25 – Nov 3, 2018.

Qatar is very serious about sport. I’ve been very well treated on previous trips.

Many are considering whether or not to attend. Many concerned about human rights issues in Qatar. Let’s shine the spotlight on those issues over the coming year.

I was pleased to see a woman on stage at Closing Ceremonies (along with 2 men) to accept the FIG flag as next hosts.
