I might have voted for Cintia Rodriguez and Carlos Yulo, if I had a vote. It’s now decided by a committee.

It was a much better competition than the team final. I speculate the Beam was widened for AA. 😀
Two other podium contenders had bad meets: Giorga Villa (ITA) 16th, and Melanie de Jesus dos Santos (FRA) 20th.
The NEW TO ME star of the Final was Aline Friess.

Brasil has missed the chance to qualify as a full team for Tokyo Olympics. Since her ACL tear would likely take from six to eight months recovery …
Teammate Flavia Saraiva secured her Olympic spot by qualifying to this Worlds’ all around final in 10th place. …

D & E scores – AA Final 2019
Nina had the highest E-score. Simone the highest D-score.
Simone’s Mic Drop
A mic drop is the gesture of intentionally dropping one’s microphone at the end of a performance or speech to signal triumph. Don’t do that … unless you are the G.O.A.T.
And you add it to your choreography at the end of the 4th apparatus. 5th AA title.
Then it’s very cool. 😊
Mykayla Skinner suggested it to her, getting the idea from a fan.
