There weren’t many surprises in the 1st subdivision #MTL2017GYM . But the second had some shocks.

Olympic Floor Champ Max Whitlock fell on a new tumbling line and will miss the apparatus final.

Sam Mikulak fell on H Bar. I expected him to win the apparatus after seeing his awesome podium training routine.

Seligman fell on Pommels.

Normally rock steady James Hall GBR did not have a good meet. The scariest fall was James missing his regrasp on Cassina.

There were some highlights too, of course.
