I’ve never seen an athlete who can do splits on floor with hips parallel.
BUT Rhythmic and contortionists do seem to be able to to get into positions that seem anatomically impossible.
I’d like some of our best gymnasts to challenge Thomas Van Tonder.
They’d need some training time, of course.
For distance you mostly use your legs.
While attempting a 90m rope climb, Thomas set a world record for the fastest 50m.
