We were surprised to hear that one of Canada’s best coaches, Elena (Yelena) Davydova was under investigation. She has no reputation as being any kind of unethical coach.
Elena is on the FIG WTC, as well.
Happily, she’s been allowed to continue coaching, under supervision.
We await a final ruling on this case.

Canadian Pediatrics endorses ‘risky play’
Perhaps the word risky is not ideal in this article.
Free play, mostly free from injury — but with minor risk of bumps and bruises is recommended for parents.
Certainly many in 2024 are helicopter parents. Too much oversight is not optimal.
