  • Floor, Pommels, Rings, Parallel Bars, Horizontal Bar, Vault
  • also 150 m sprint, High Jump, lifting a 40 kg weight 20x
  • France was the team champion. Joseph Martinez from France had the highest individual score.

While female gymnasts did not compete at the 1903 International Tournament, they did do gymnastics, and their performances were quite the sensation. …

Israel’s Artem Dolgopyat wins Floor in Munich

Israeli gymnast Artem Dolgopyat, Olympic Floor champion in Tokyo, won gold again on Sunday at the European Artistic Gymnastics Championship in Munich.

Dolgopyat, 25, was born in Ukraine to a Jewish father and non-Jewish mother and immigrated 13 years ago. 

It was in the same Olympic venue as the Munich massacre by 8 members of the Palestinian terrorist group Black September.

Diana Varinska officially retired

Fan favourite, Diana Varinska, has hung up her grips.

She’ll be remembered for her 2019 European Games all-around and balance beam bronze medals. Additionally, she was a member of the team that won Ukraine’s first European team title at the 2020 European Championships

Her teammate Anastasia Bachynska also stopped training.

Ukraine finished 12th in 2022. The future does not look bright for the women’s team.

Germany celebrates – Kim Bui

Hosted in Munich, team Germany was pleased to come away with a Bronze medal in team.

Of course this was the final competition for legend Kim Bui, age-33.

Fisk University’s first-ever gymnastics practice goes viral on TikTok
