Mary Wright:

As the Performance Coordinator for Gymnastics New Zealand, I have worked tirelessly to produce a WAG Performance program for them, very similar to our Tops program here in the states. I’ve been back and forth to New Zealand quite frequently to present this program around the country and to initiate its implementation. I’ve also been working with the top coaches and programs and am very happy and humbled to be named as a New Zealand coach for World Championships.

We will be bringing a team of four girls. Courtney McGregor, who competed in the Olympics and has spent the past year at Boise State, will lead the team of youngsters. The rest of the team are all first year seniors and have a lot of potential for NZ’s future in gymnastics. Estella MatthewsonIsabella Brett and Ayame van Buesekom …

Men’s team alternate Cory Paterson dropped by our Gymnastics Camp yesterday for a workout. He’s preparing for the World Cup in Paris. Graduated from Iowa, he’s now training in Montreal.
