The teams that earned a spot in the nationals were Bridgeport, Lindenwood, Brown, Seattle Pacific, Cornell, Texas Woman’s, Yale, and Air Force. Individuals from Pennsylvania, West Chester, Southern Connecticut, and Centenary will also be in action throughout the weekend.
The national championship event will begin on Friday, April 8, with the team semifinals. …
Bridgeport enters the competition as the top seed after finishing with a regional-qualifying score (RQS) of 194.575. The Purple Knights, which won the ECAC Division II Championship, captured the USA Gymnastics Women’s Collegiate Team Championship for six straight seasons from 2009-2014.
Lindenwood, the host school, is the defending national champions after capturing the title last year in just its third year as a program …

The competition venue was Mohamed Boudiaf Olympic Complex in Algiers.

World Sport visits South Essex Gymnastics Club and Head Coach Scott Hann, who trains a team of elite gymnasts with 36 Olympic, World, European and Commonwealth medals between them. The team includes Max Whitlock, Brinn Bevan and Reiss Beckford.
