🙂 Sam wins NEARLY everything 🙂

The biggest surprise for me was Shane Wiskus. Based on this weekend I’d take him to Worlds 2019.

  3. Akash Modi 168.250
  4. Shane Wiskus 167.600
  5. Trevor Howard 163.900
  6. Allan Bower 163.650

Sam won Floor, Pommel, P Bars and H Bar. AND had the both the highest D and E scores.

Alex Diab won Rings. Shane won Vault (based on 1 vault).

Colin Van Wicklen was out with injury.

It was a very good competition day 2. With few falls.

Olympic Champ banned for ‘pantsing’

The world’s top short-track speed skater and reigning Olympic champion has been banned from the sport for a year after allegedly pulling down a male teammate’s pants in front of several women in South Korea.

The Korean Skating Union (KSU) has suspended Olympic gold medallist Lim Hyo-Jun from all skating-related activities in response to the sexual harassment allegation …

The KSU has also banned all 14 skaters on the men’s and women’s national teams for one month.

The biggest surprise for me was Jade Carey. You know, the AAer.

The depth of this group of Seniors is fantastic. It might just be the greatest competition I’ve ever watched.

Most impressive was tumbling difficulty. Double doubles were common. You had to compete the first triple double ever to get special attention.

I wouldn’t want to be Tom Forster trying to select the invitees to Worlds Camp. Almost everyone could qualify to a Worlds final.

I would have bet money I’d never see this skill in competition in my lifetime.

Konnor McClain leads Jr – day 1

1. Konnor McClain – 56.500
2. Kayla DiCello – 56.000
3. Olivia Greaves – 55.700
4. Sydney Barros – 55.250
5. Skye Blakely – 54.600
6. Anya Pilgrim – 53.900
7. eMjae Frazier – 53.300

… Most of the top athletes had really strong days. The top four basically all nailed their competitions, and Blakely did well to recover from bars to come back with strong scores on the other three events. A high quality day overall. …
