Liz Kincaid, is the head coach and founder of one of Britain’s most succesful gymnastics clubs. Coach to Olympians, world medalists and British champions.
Liz tells Leap the Atlantic why she thinks NCAA gymnastics is an important goal for her gymnasts as well as something more coaches in GB should be investing …
Over 90% of Canadian girls, I estimate, are happy when they get to the NCAA. I recommend all foreign gymnasts consider this option on a student visa.
For the boys, however, I’m much less enthusiastic. There are far fewer teams for MAG and those teams have fewer scholarship opportunities. Tuition is very expensive in the USA. Male gymnasts from other nations are most often recommended to stay home.
