WAG coaches needed in Nova Scotia

Cobequid Spartans Gymnastic & Trampoline Centre is currently seeking applicant to fill a full time WAG /Head coach position (approx. 35 hrs per week). In Truro, the hub of Nova scotia.

NCCP Level 3 or international equivalent. Applicant must be able to coach ALL events, be familiar with the Junior Olympic Program, have good communication skills. Applicants must also have basic first aid, Respect in Sport certification, police screening and criminal records check.

The club is also looking for NCCP 2 coaches offering 12-20 hours / week.

Unlike in the junior competition, Russia came out on top today. Both teams showed they are in top shape, although Team GB is missing its World Champion Max Whitlock who withdrew because of illness just last week. …

In Doha I took in a photo exhibit called Hey’Ya (Let’s go!): Arab Women in Sport.

Arab women should not be denied the access to sport and fitness. Many in these nations are working towards improving opportunities.
