Bower was leading going into the final rotation, with all three gymnasts able to win it. Modi emerged the winner by the slimmest of margins. Only 0.6 points separated the three. The team, all-around and event champions will be crowned during Saturday’s team finals. Bonus points are also available for stuck dismounts on every event but pommel horse. A ‘C’ dismount can earn 0.10, and a ‘D’ or above can add 0.20. Any stuck vault earns 0.10 regardless of its value.

If those competitions will have LIVE TV broadcast I can live with the decision. But having been to Championships in Fort Worth once I’m less likely, as a fan, to return. Personally I’d rather Nationals rotated around the nation. And be hosted by NCAA teams not in independent cities.
