Diana Varinska officially retired
Fan favourite, Diana Varinska, has hung up her grips.
She’ll be remembered for her 2019 European Games all-around and balance beam bronze medals. Additionally, she was a member of the team that won Ukraine’s first European team title at the 2020 European Championships.
Her teammate Anastasia Bachynska also stopped training.
Ukraine finished 12th in 2022. The future does not look bright for the women’s team.
Thanks for all the good years, Diana.
Germany celebrates – Kim Bui
Hosted in Munich, team Germany was pleased to come away with a Bronze medal in team.
Of course this was the final competition for legend Kim Bui, age-33.

I thought Kim Bui would NEVER retire.
She’s like Ellie Black. And Elisabeth Seitz. Ageless in the sport.
33 is just a number to Kim Bui.
Vault – Yeo Seo-jeong
The first South Korean female gymnast to win an Olympic medal.
At the 2020 Olympic Games, Yeo performed her eponymous vault, which had the highest difficulty value in the final.
She finished with an average score of 14.733 and won the bronze medal behind Brazilian Rebeca Andrade and American MyKayla Skinner.
Olesya Dudnik – Beam
One of the greatest from the strongest era of Soviet Gymnastics.
1989 European Beam Champion.

Cyprus BRONZE at Commonwealth Games
History made. Congratulations.

The super experienced British Men’s team ran away with it. Followed by the new look (young) Canadian men’s team. Both predictable.
But I don’ think anyone not from Cyprus was predicting this. Amazing.
