U.S. team to Pan Am Games

The 2019 Pan American Games begins July 24 in Lima, Peru.

Pending approval by the United States Olympic and Paralympic Committee, the members of the team are Kara Eaker of Grain Valley, Mo./Great American Gymnastics Express; Aleah Finnegan of Lee’s Summit, Mo./Great American Gymnastics Express; Morgan Hurd of Middletown, Del./First State Gymnastics; Riley McCusker of Brielle, N.J./MG Elite; Leanne Wong of Overland Park, Kansas/Great American Gymnastics Express; and Shilese Jones of Westerville, Ohio/Future Gymnastics Academy, non-traveling alternate.

training ‘curvilinear actions’

In Canada a concept was developed by Good Osborne and Boris Verkhovsky which they called curvilinear actions.

As gymnasts get more and more comfortable with progressions like the ones here they improve on all skills with similar body actions.

Worlds 2019 draw has been posted

MAG & WAG 93 federations – Stuttgart 4-13 October.

Mary Wright noted that Valeri Liukin (Brazil), Neil Resnick (New Zealand with mixed group 19) and Tom Forster (USA) will all have competitors in subdivision 12.
