Kohei did not say a word to Kato during the AA finals. The Champion was trying to stay focused while competing 18 routines in Rio. Plus Apparatus Finals.
related – Yusuke Tanaka after Glasgow felt he was no longer needed by the team. Kohei disagreed. 🙂

Many are struggling to get back up to speed. Acadiana Gymnastics, for example, had both their Gyms flooded.

All of the funds donated will go to restoring the gym and helping re-home the families of the gym affected by the flood.

The Busy Fan was surprised to hear of all the hate directed towards Al Trautwig during the Olympics.
After all, he’s the everyman of the NBC Primetime commentary team. The one who’s supposed to make the casual fan feel less stupid in not understanding all the nuance.

NBC Primetime seems to work for the casual fan. Coaches should watch pretty much any other source of coverage. All are better for us than NBC Primetime.
Personally I always enjoy listening to Tim Daggett. He’s a coach. He knows what he’s talking about. Of the three he does by far the most research in advance of the competition.
